You might think it silly but what if some wealthy, slightly nutty, philanthropist really liked Gulf Coast Info and decided a donation to "the cause", by which I mean keeping this site running, was the best use of some million dollar trust fund. Wouldn't we be the fools is we hadn't included this donate button to make their dream a reality. Or maybe somebody just likes and thinks we could use an extra buck or two.
