First yous should know that I grew up with guns. My grandfather gave me many as I grew as did my father. I have hunted all my life and some of my fondest childhood memories are of hunting with my father and grandfather. I also enjoy shooting just for the sake of shooting. It is a physical and technical challenge to do it well and all of it can be done safely.

Many questions arise with respect to firearm safety. The problem, a huge majority of people are introduced to firearms, for the first time, in TV and movies that vary rarely if ever take the necessary step of educating those people in the absolutely required topic of firearm safety. Worse many people will not have any other exposure to guns except the negative exposure that comes from media coverage of crimes involving guns.
