Beach Walk Crystal Beach is like the one and only heir to a rich tycoon. Its back wall (two stories, all glass) opens to a view that isn’t of a beach-off-in-the-distance but an immediate, present beach. It’s an arm’s length from the nearest indoor table and practically merging with the deck outside. Coconut white and wisped with seagrass, it barely holds back the green-blue Gulf of Mexico. The restaurant could serve frozen fish sticks and everyone would still want to be its friend.

In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht club. Owners Kevin and Gwen Ortego quickly established a loyal following due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998, the Ortegos decided to part with the restaurant and return to Baton Rouge. At that point in time, Southern Restaurant Group took over ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistantly served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.

A favorite with the Fort Walton Beach - Destin locals since 1979, The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House got started in a small, A-frame building on the beach. We instantly made a name for ourselves by serving delicious gulf seafood with the best view in Destin. A few years later we invented the Amberjack Sandwich, and the rest is, well, history. Over the years, a few things have changed; the gift shop is now where the kitchen was, and most of our neighbors are now 12-stories tall! But inside The Back Porch, things are pretty much the same as they've always been. We're still the best place in Destin for families and friends to get together and enjoy fresh gulf seafood, and we've still got the best view in town.
